About Environmental Drilling and Probing

Environmental Drilling and Probing (EDPS) was founded in 2004 to provide quality, environmentally sound, and cost effective drilling services to the environmental industry.  The EDPS office is conveniently located in Charlotte, North Carolina, servicing customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee.  Our field operations manager, Tommy Bolyard, is available to meet with clients at the job site to discuss specific site details and can be reached at 704.607.7529 with any questions or for scheduling.

Drilling crews are safety conscience, considerate, and fast.  Our lead driller has 15 years + of drilling experience and has drilled in all types of formations and subsurface conditions.  Drilling crews are trained to show up on the job site on time with the proper drill rig; tools; and support equipment fully prepared to accomplish your drilling requirements in a professional and cost effective manner.  We understand that you don’t want to spend more time than necessary doing field work.  We will get you in and out of the field as quickly and as safely as possible.

EDPS understands the importance of, and is committed to observing the requirements of, health and safety regulations and codes of practice.  We diligently maintain an outstanding safety record, and you can be assured that our drilling and probing services will be conducted in the safest manner possible.  We are proud of the proactive stance we take on the prevention and control of exposures and hazards that may result in injury or loss.

We have a perfect Safety rating and our Experience Modification Rate or ERM is “0” or no losses since 2004.  We are a small Business with less than 10 employees and carry all the necessary insurance and are bonded as well.  Our insurance policies are available for review anytime.  Inquiries can be sent to edps@comporium.net.  A copy of our Health and Safety Program Table of Contents is also available upon request.
